B4 i even start med school, the obstacles that have set b4 me are already
driving me up the wall. 3 weeks have passed and my 2nd mail to aussie
is still in transit. the first one took abt a wk and nobody has any idea wat
has happened to d 2nd one. so, my timeline is thrown into total disarray.
everything was planned with a little room for error. yet, being delayed
for going 3 wks wrecked all the things i had to do and leave me with
very little time now. im hoping that i can get all the authentications,
visa and whatever else done b4 i fly. it's gonna be a tight tight race w time.
S*NGPOST totally disappointed and screwed up dis time. i used to have
quite a gd impression of them until a few recent screw ups that they made.
you see, when you go to a post svc website. they usually give u a few
delivery options to choose from, including the delivery time period.
now when i questioned them abt the gross delay (3 FREAKIN WEEKS) and
they having no idea where my article is, they defended themselves by saying
the time period is JUST a "guide". EXCUSE ME? and they added further that
there is a clause that says that all deliveries are given a timeline of 18 days,
excluding saturdays and sundays. THEN, why did you allow customers to
choose their delivery modes, if all delivery modes are "protected" by the 18
days clause?? and i paid extra for a REGISTERED mail. so to tell me that i
have to wait 18 days (which is stated 7-10 days for sin-aus), and to tell me my
article is STILL in transit, and to tell me that you DO NOT KNOW where
my article is right now, and to tell me that you have NO WAY to know
where it is in transit now.... it's a total absurd failure.
at least, auspost has a twitter acct that had real ppl who corresponded w me
on this matter. the customer svc quality is apparent.
so, after calculating the possibilities, i had no choice but to pay for FedEx
svc and up my return mail from aussie to a faster premium svc. to ensure,
hopefully, that they arrive back in time for me to get my authentications
n visa done JUST b4 i fly. so, im gonna wait a few more days and if my
article is still lost somewhere in outer space, im gonna claim from SP
every single cent that i have paid extra for their crappy svc.
it's not just the money but the stress of chasing aft them, wondering wat
has happened, on top of a dateline to meet. just feel like cursing and
swearing every *&!@^%#!! in the entire universe now.
i rushed to exchange aussie currencies n waited for the FedEx guy to come
by at 2pm to pick up the items at the drop box. well, he did come by at
2pm sharp. i waited coz i wanted him to help me make sure i had done
everything properly n correctly. i cant afford to mk a stupid mistake w the
package at dis crucial juncture. who knew, the guy told me not to drop off
at the drop boxes next time. these boxes are meant for acct holders. that
didnt go down v well w me. so i said ive done dis b4 and had no issues
whatsoever. he continued to say it wld MK HIS WORK EASIER so that
he didnt have to call to confirm d price n so on. so, d main gist is that it
wld be lesser work for him?? firstly, i was already in a foul mood coz of SP..
now dis guy is trying to give me crap as well. miraculously, i decided to
be nice n talked to him nicely.. asking him why is there a price diff, why i
cldnt use pick up svc and all the crap.. and it ended well.
i really need to learn patience. handling this whole process with no help
or agent is really heating me up very easily and quickly these days.
anyway, enuff of the rant.
FedEx will reach them tmr. hopefully, ecu replies them quick, they authn
my docs immed and send them back without any drama within d next 2 wks.
that will give me enough time to authn my docs and apply for my visa.
NO MORE TWIST PLEASE!
